The 1. Lauf: 7 km oder Halbmarathon am 28. Juni 2026 im Wiener Prater is one of four races making up the Wiener Sommerlaufcup series. Held on the Prater Hauptallee with start/finish at the Stadionparkplatz (Ecke Meiereistrasse), the event offers two distance choices—7 km and a cup-format half marathon—both starting at 08:30. Timekeeping is provided by TIME NOW SPORTS and the organiser publishes cup results promptly after each race, reflecting the event's focus on reliable timing and series standings.
This Prater leg emphasises a fast, looped road course on Vienna’s main park avenue, suitable for recreational and competitive runners aged 18 and over (minors require parental consent). Late on-site entries are accepted on race morning (until 08:15), and there are facilities and post-race provisions in the start/finish area including refreshments and changing tents.
