13. Erlanger Benefizlauf

The 13. Erlanger Benefizlauf takes place on 9 May 2026 at Röthelheimpark in Erlangen and is organised by the Lions Club Erlangen. The event supports the Leo-Lions Sportkids project at the Pestalozzischule and combines charity fundraising with community sport. Races are offered for all ages, from a Bambinilauf for the very young to multi-lap adult and youth races, and the day is framed by a family festival with live music and on-site stalls. Local sponsors and club activities contribute to a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere.

The course is a largely flat 900 m loop around the Grünstreifen in Röthelheimpark, allowing participants to complete multiple laps; a separate 400 m Bambinilauf and two school races are also scheduled. Adult and youth runs use three start groups with capped fields and results/certificates are provided via the event downloads/results area. On-site food and entertainment, team and school trophies, and a focus on participation and charity are central to the event.
