Sportschule Lindow, Lindow, Brandenburg, Germany
The Wutzseelauf is a community running event organised by the Auszubildenden der Beruflichen Schule für Sport und Soziales Lindow and scheduled for 19 September 2026. The event, referred to on the official page as "Wutzseelauf", offers multiple race distances for children, youths and adults and is presented as a family-friendly Volkslauf. Routes circulate the Wutzsee and the surrounding Stechlin‑Ruppiner Land, featuring lake views, forest sections and local landmarks such as the Klosterruine and the sculpture of the "Schönen Nonne". Timing is handled with transponder chips integrated into the start numbers by Sport‑Service Falkensee, and finishers can obtain certificates via the timing portal.
Race day logistics include bib collection from 08:30 and staggered race starts from 09:30, with separate childrens races and a Nordic walking category. The meeting point is the Sportschule Lindow and courses use mixed surfaces (forest floor, sand and some roadway) with notable climbs and descents in the wooded sections. The event is a station in the EMB‑Cup Oberhavel, and the 2026 edition is promoted as the 21st running of the Wutzseelauf. Award ceremonies (Siegerehrungen) follow the races with approximate times noted on the organiser page.
