Lace up your sneakers, GRAB YOUR BEST CAPE OR TUTU, and join the Wolftrap community for our Annual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run on Sunday, April 27, 2025 starting at 8:00 am. All paces and ages are welcome - run or walk!
This annual 5K and fun run is a community-building event that helps the Wolftrap PTA raise critical funds for Wolftrap Elementary to enhance the education experience of the students. Participants are invited to come in a cape and/or tutu and enjoy the run, music, awards, cake walk, raffles of baskets, after-race treats and much more!
Registration Fees: Note that online registration closes on Thursday, April 24 at 8:00 pm 5k Run/Walk Adult (13 & over):$40 through March 23, $45 March 24 through Race Day 5k Run/Walk Child (12 & under): $30 through March 23, $35 March 24 through through Race Day 1 Mile Fun Run (untimed): $20 through March 23, $25 March 24 through Race Day
All registrations completed by April 12th are guaranteed a race shirt. After this date, race shirts are not guaranteed.
The start and finish line are located at the school, 1903 Beulah Rd, Vienna, VA 22182. The 1-mile fun run/walk will start at 8:00 am, followed by the 5K start at 8:30 am (1 hour time limit to complete). Both races begin and end at the school. The event will take place rain or shine. Strollers are welcome at both races. Please be respectful of other runners and start in the back of the group if you are slower.
Packet Pick up and Late Registration: Packet pick-up will be available on Friday, April 25 from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm in the school. Packet pick-up and walk-in registration will be held on race day, Sunday April 27 from 7:15 am to 8:15 am in the Wolftrap Elementary School. Participants can register on the day of the event at the at the packet pick up.
Awards & Prizes: For the 5k race, trophies and medals will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers including teachers and students. Additionally, medals will be awarded for the top male and top female finisher in each of the following age categories: 4 & under, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & over.
