Der Walter Nordstadt-Lauf 2026 is a community road running event held in Pforzheim with multiple distances for all ages, from a 220 m Bambini-Lauf to the 9,000 m Walter-Meile. The event is staged at Autozentrum Walter with start and finish on site and a compact afternoon schedule of staggered race starts. Races are chip-timed via an integrated timing chip in the race bib and bibs are issued at check-in on the day of the event.
The programme includes dedicated youth races (Bambini and Schüler:innen), a 3.6 km FunRun and the five-lap Walter-Meile 9 km course, all run predominantly on asphalt roads in the Nordstadt area. Support facilities include shared changing rooms and showers at Sport Oase, luggage storage and parking at Wartbergbad, and on-site prize ceremonies after each race. Advance online registration closes 10 October 2026 with limited on-day entries available subject to the organiser's conditions.
