Hauptallee near Stadionbad, 1020 Vienna, Austria
The Int. Wiener Herbstmarathon des LCC-Wien is scheduled for 11 October 2026 and takes place in the Wiener Prater with start and finish on the Hauptallee near Stadionbad. The course is AIMS‑measured, fully asphalted and exceptionally flat, giving organisers and participants a clear focus on fast times and predictable lap logistics. The race is organised by LCC‑Wien and uses a multi‑lap circuit that keeps the entire event within the parkland area.
Race options include a 7 km loop (7.0325 km), a half marathon (3 laps = 21.0975 km), a marathon (6 laps = 42.195 km) and team relays (half‑marathon relay: 3 legs; marathon relay: 6 legs). All distances start at 10:00 on race day with a common finish/cut‑off at 16:00 and chip timing provided by Champion‑Chip via Pentek (net times and split logs every 7.0325 km). The organiser emphasises that without a recognised chip there will be no official timekeeping.
Entries are managed online via the Pentek payment portal and the event package notably includes a finisher medal and a voucher for the Kaiserschmarrnparty on 10 October at WeMove Wien Mitte, together with aid stations, post‑race refreshments, showers and local parking options. Prize ceremonies are held separately for each distance and the event information and route plan are published on the LCC‑Wien website. Note: the event page header contains a conflicting date (19.10.2026) while the body consistently lists 11.10.2026; the body date is treated as authoritative here.
