Val Tho Summit Games at Val Thorens

The Val Tho Summit Games à Val Thorens is a three-day mountain sport festival taking place in the high alpine resort of Val Thorens from 7 to 9 August 2026. The event brings together a programme of trail races, a vertical kilometre (VT Speed 3200), family walks and dedicated kids races, presented as a cohesive festival rather than isolated races. The festival positioning emphasises accessible participation, high-altitude scenery and a mix of formats for elite and recreational mountain runners.

Races range from short technical trails to a long mountain route and a vertical ascent, with several courses noted as UTMB Index / ITRA-certified and prize money indicated for the main long event. The weekend also includes coaching stages (VT Boost Camp), on-site animations and post-race refreshments for participants, making it family-friendly and spectator-oriented.
