Get ready to jet off on an exhilarating 5K like no other! Join us for the United Way 5K on the Runway, where you'll race on the taxiway parallel to Lynchburg Regional Airport's main runway. This is not your everyday run: it's flat, fast, and open to anyone aged 8 or older who can cover 5K in under 60 minutes. Imagine sprinting down the airstrip with the thrill of airplanes nearby—it’s a rare chance to see the airport from an entirely different perspective! But be quick to secure your spot; we're capping it at 500 participants. So lace up and prepare for takeoff on April 26, 2025.
