UltraChampsaur 2026 is a human-scale trail festival held at the gateway to the Écrins massif in the Hautes‑Alpes. The event brings together several trail distances on a single day, from a short 10 km outing to a very high‑mountain 80 km ultra with a relay option, and routes start from Pont‑du‑Fossé, Chaillol station and Les Borels in the vallée de Champoléon. The race is organised by the local association UltraChampsaur (association loi 1901) and emphasises conviviality, mountain scenery and varied singletrack through the Champsaur valleys.
Support for participants includes multiple on‑course aid stations, medical presence and food and drink services, with childrens' races also offered as part of the weekend. Bib collection is organised before the event and limited on‑site pickup windows are provided on race morning; competitors are encouraged to consult the official site for the athlete guide, GPX files and final logistical information. Partners and local authorities support the race, underlining its regional character and mountain focus.
