twinfitlauf

The twinfitlauf (officially listed as twinfitlauf / Aerzener twinfit – Volkslauf) is a community road running event held at the twinfit facility in Aerzen. The day features multiple race distances for children, youth, walkers, individuals and teams, with a dedicated Firmen & Teamlauf (company/team) category and separate Schülerlauf for pupils. Organisers provide on-site changing rooms with showers, parking and refreshments both on course and in the finish area to support participants and spectators. Results are published after the event and certificates and prize draws are awarded during a prize-giving in the early afternoon.

Entry opens online from 01 August 2026 with standard and on-the-day (Nachmeldung) registration windows, and modest entry fees that differ by distance and age class. Team entries have specific eligibility and scoring rules where the fastest three runners per team count towards the team result; winners must be present at the prize-giving to claim drawn prizes. Start cards are available from 09:00 on race day and the organiser states there are no refunds for non-attendance or withdrawal.
