Truckee Half Marathon

The Truckee Half Marathon invites runners to experience the breathtaking and varied landscapes of Truckee. The event kicks off in the charming historic downtown, before guiding participants through a scenic mixture of roads and trails that encircle the picturesque Donner Lake. After enjoying the stunning views, the course ascends towards Tahoe Donner, ultimately winding back through Truckee's vibrant downtown and concluding near Moody’s restaurant.For those opting for a shorter distance, the Truckee 5K offers an equally spectacular route, with participants enjoying all the amenities of the Half Marathon except for the finisher's medal.<br><br>Children can also take part in specially designed races, with distances tailored to different age groups, all under 1K.<br><br>Participants will receive a technical event shirt, and Half Marathon finishers will be awarded a medal. Additionally, everyone can enjoy one free digital race photo, and awards are given to the top three finishers in each 5-year age group for both female and male categories. The event is supported by fully stocked aid stations, and there's a range of recovery food and beverages available, including cold beer for those 21 and over.
