The Trento Half Marathon (part of the Trento Running Festival) is a city-centre road race finishing beneath the historic Piazza Duomo. The course is a single urban loop of 21.097 km that is largely flat and fast, with a short, sharper incline near Buonconsiglio Castle around the tenth kilometre. The race is organised by A.S.D. Città di Trento and presents a festival atmosphere with expo activities, family races and hospitality aimed at visiting runners and local spectators. Chip timing, pacemakers and official aid stations are provided to support competitive and recreational participants alike.
Race day logistics are runner-focused: bib and packet collection windows are scheduled on the two days before the race with limited Sunday pickup for non-residents, four starting corrals are used, and a dedicated bag-drop and post-race refreshments/food are organised at the finish area. Entries are handled online via the event site and Endu, with progressive pricing bands and options for transfers or deferrals subject to administrative fees and deadlines. Prize money, athlete categories and regulatory matters are administered under WA/FIDAL rules and detailed regulations are published on the official site and information pages.
