The Traunsteiner Halbmarathon (Traunstein Half Marathon) is a road running event centred on the Stadtplatz in Traunstein, Germany, and comprising two races on the same day: a Halbmarathon (21.0975 km) and a 12 km Lauf. The next edition is scheduled for Sunday 3 May 2026 and the races start from the city centre, with the course following the Traun river and returning to a Stadtplatz finish. The official event page is published by the local organiser Sport Praxenthaler in cooperation with TV Traunstein and includes practical information on registration, packet pickup and results.
The course features out-and-back sections and an urban finish, with multiple aid stations on-route and chip timing (own chips are not accepted). All finishers receive a medal and pre-registered entrants are provided with a functional running shirt; age-group trophies, team prizes and tombola prizes are awarded. Practical on-site services include packet pickup (Saturday and Sunday options), changing facilities and showers at the nearby Ludwig-Thoma-Turnhalle, and parking provision in the Karl-Theodor-Platz area.
