Trail of the Plane Tree

Trail du Platane is a one-day trail running event held in Aubas in the Dordogne valley; the organiser lists multiple trail distances and a randonnée (walking) option for Sunday 5 July 2026. The route takes place in a scenic natural setting near the Vézère/Dordogne valley and the famous Lascaux area, and the event is presented by Association Le Trail du Platane with timing provided by OK‑TIME. Multiple start waves are scheduled across the morning, bib collection is from 07:15 at the Salle des fêtes (Place du Platane) and registration is handled via the KlikeGo platform.

The event offers several participant-focused features: a T-shirt for the first 250 registrants on select trails and a small charitable contribution (€2) to the SPA, on-site facilities including showers/changing, toilets, parking and food/drink stalls, and live timing/results from OK‑TIME. Distances on the day include longer and shorter trail options (notably 30 km, 21 km, 11.5 km and 8 km) plus an 8 km rando; specific race start times and a 21 km checkpoint cutoff (10:45 at the 21 km mark) are published on the organiser pages.
