The Trail des Rives de l’Indre (official French title) is a community-centred trail weekend in La Châtre celebrating its 10th anniversary with a mix of night and daytime races along the banks of the Indre. The event combines technical bocage and riverside singletrack with a finish through the old town’s steep streets, offering scenic variety typical of the Bas Berry landscape. Organisers present family-friendly programming including children's activities, an evening music programme and a convivial village atmosphere that emphasises eco-responsibility and local hospitality.
Across Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026 the programme features an innovative multi-loop night event alongside classic daytime trail distances, timed and managed by local timing services. The weekend format provides a social festival vibe with on-site hospitality and awards, while the race regulations and participant information are published in downloadable regulation and programme documents on the official site. Entrants must follow the published rules for licence/medical certificate checks and mandatory kit for longer distances as stated in the event regulation.
