Trail de Dinant is a multi-distance trail running event held in and around the historic town of Dinant in Wallonia. The event name in French, Trail de Dinant, is used by the organisers and invites runners to experience forest tracks, single‑track technical sections and panoramic views over the Meuse. The edition described covers a weekend in late July with routes designed for beginners through to experienced trail runners. The start area is the plateau of the Citadelle de Dinant, an exceptional viewpoint that serves as a landmark for the races.
Six distances are offered, ranging from a discovery 6 km up to an ultratrail 60 km, and several distances are listed as UTMB Index eligible on the organiser pages. The courses feature significant elevation and technical sections typical of the region’s limestone cliffs and wooded trails, with aid stations and medical support reported for the distances. Official organiser contact details are given on the event pages for registration and logistical enquiries, and the event pages include GPX traces and route profiles for participants.
