The event titled "Tour du Canton de Genève à vélo – 14ᵉ édition" is an annual, non-competitive cyclosportive and randonnée organised by TCS Genève (Section Genève), with departures and returns at Place Louis-Favre in Chêne-Bourg. The day features four distinct routes ranging from about 19 km to approximately 132 km, designed to welcome riders from families and beginners to more experienced cyclists. The organiser provides route guidance via partner apps and runs a village with food and entertainment, as well as on-course support.
The Tour places emphasis on accessibility and community spirit rather than competition, with staggered start windows on the morning of 23 August 2026 so groups can choose a suitable departure time. Practical services include bib collection points, aid stations along the courses, technical assistance and a souvenir at the finish issued on presentation of a QR code. Participants are advised to carry identification for short sections that cross into France and to respect safety guidance such as wearing a helmet.
The main meeting point and village are at Place Louis-Favre, Chêne-Bourg, with good public transport access and nearby parking options. Routes are published and viewable through the Geovelo app (Explorer section) and the organiser provides logistical information including bib pick-up times and a programme for the village. TCS Genève oversees the event delivery and local coordination to ensure a safe, well-supported experience for all riders.
