TOR450 - TOR DES GLACIERS

The TOR450 - TOR DES GLACIERS is an ultra‑endurance trail race scheduled to start and finish in Courmayeur, Valle d'Aosta, Italy, running from 11 to 19 September 2026. The race covers approximately 450 km with some 32,000 metres of ascent and is limited to 200 competitors who meet the strict eligibility criteria. Entry is reserved for athletes who have previously completed the TOR330 within the required time, emphasising an elite, experienced field. The event commemorates the tenth anniversary of the TOR330 and showcases little‑known high‑alpine trails and ridgelines away from standard trekking paths.

The route is high‑altitude and unmarked, so competitors must rely on official GPX tracks provided by the Organisation and navigate between life bases; the Organisation advises downloading segment‑by‑segment GPX files rather than a single large file. The format is effectively self‑sufficient with life‑base to life‑base tracking, a 190‑hour maximum time and authorised backup routes only in exceptional circumstances. An award ceremony is scheduled for 20 September 2026 in Parco Bollino, Courmayeur, and further logistical details are published on the official event pages.
