Le Tacot et la Renarde is a community trail running event held in Sud Essonne, France, combining nature trails with a village atmosphere. The 2026 edition (the event refers to itself as "Le Tacot et la Renarde") features main trail distances around 12 km and 25 km, and the organisers have introduced a new 25 km Duo format for teams. The main races use a single start at 16:00 on race day, and the event historically attracts several hundred participants, reflecting its growing local popularity.
The event day centres on a Start/Finish village with local exhibitors, musical entertainment and food trucks, plus on-site services such as physiotherapists and an official timekeeper. Bib collection on race day is organised at the Complexe du Jeu de Paume (collection window published as 13:30–15:45), and every registered participant is offered a small gift. There is also a free children's race for birth years 2016–2020 with a separate 14:00 start, making the event family-friendly and spectator-friendly.
