The Sheep Run 2026

La Course du Mouton 2026 is a countryside running and walking event held at Château de la Blérétie in La Jemaye-Ponteyraud, Dordogne, on 24 May 2026. The event offers three distances — a 21 km run (two laps of a roughly 10 km mixed road and trail loop), a 10 km run, and a 5 km walk — and is presented as family-friendly and accessible rather than overtly competitive. The course is described as "mi-route, mi-chemin" (half road, half trail) and takes place across forest and rural terrain around the estate.

The event combines sport with a festival atmosphere including food stalls and a large post-race communal banquet (advertised at €30).
