Since 2010, the Rochester Triathlon (aka The ROC) has been a late-summer classic organized by the Rochester Area Triathletes (RATs) and held at Durand-Eastman Beach in Irondequoit, NY. The event features a shallow open-water swim, a closed-to-traffic, fast bike course, and a scenic, picturesque run along Lake Ontario and the Seabreeze shorelines to crowds lining the pathway.
The ROC is a USAT-sanctioned event offering qualifying slots for the National Championships for both Sprint and Intermediate distances. The event includes the following divisions:
Note: Due to consistently low participation, the Duathlon, Aquabike, and Relays are no longer being offered.
