The Lucioles of the Josas 2026

Les Lucioles du Josas 2026 is a short, nocturnal trail held in Jouy-en-Josas (Yvelines) that brings evening running together with a festive Christmas market atmosphere. The event offers two course options—an 8 km and a 12 km loop—and encourages participants to wear fluorescent clothing and costumes for a friendly, community-focused night run. Routes mix urban passages and off-road trail sections through the town and nearby green spaces, with organisers promoting a convivial, family-friendly ambience.

The start and finish are sited at the town's Noël market (Place de la Marne), making the race part of the local seasonal festivities and providing refreshments at the finish, including hot drinks and snacks. Prizes are awarded to the top finishers in each distance and there is a separate competition for the best costumes, emphasising the event's celebratory spirit. Participants are advised to bring required safety kit such as a headlamp, water reserve, emergency blanket and mobile phone as stated by the organisers.
