The Bà Sportive (Bealach Mor Sportive) edition 2026 is a long-distance cyclosportive departing from Kinlochewe in the Scottish Highlands, centred on the closed-road ascent of the Bealach na Bà. The route is presented as a 90-mile (approximately 145 km) endurance ride that showcases dramatic coastal roads and the full 11-mile Bealach pass. The event emphasizes safety and support with full medical cover, feed stations and timed segments for the Bealach climb as well as an overall time for the ride. Spectators are explicitly welcome and the event promotes community benefit and local fundraising.
Riders set off in a morning rolling start window and enjoy route support, on-course feed and a post-ride meal followed by a ceilidh to celebrate completion. The organisers highlight the closed-road Bealach na Bà climb, timed climb segments and route downloads/GPX availability for pre-ride planning. Camping for participants is offered on-site for the weekend and entries are handled via the official registration platform linked from the event homepage. The Bà Sportive is promoted as part of the inaugural Bà Event Series, with a paired duathlon event announced for 2026.
