Tharandter-Wald-Lauf

The Tharandter-Wald-Lauf is an annual Volkslauf held at the Waldbühne on the Hartheberg in Kurort Hartha; the 2026 edition is listed as the 47th Tharandter-Wald-Lauf. The event is staged by Post SV Dresden with support from the Stadt Tharandt and Pohrsdorfer SV and features a range of distances through the Tharandter Wald. Races run on finished forest paths and scenic woodland tracks, with the 30 km described as the event's Königdisziplin.

Entries are accepted online with a registration deadline of 26 August 2026 and on-the-day entries possible until 10:45 with a late-fee surcharge. Timing is provided by Lausitz Timing using a transponder attached to the race bib, and start/finish and bib collection take place at the Waldbühne Hartheberg from 09:30 on race day. Course support includes on-course refreshments and post-race food and drink near the start/finish; participants take part at their own risk under the organiser's liability statement.
