Start at Greenwich Park; finish on The Mall, London
The TCS London Marathon is a flagship international road marathon taking place on Sunday 26 April 2026. The event is branded as the TCS London Marathon and is part of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, drawing a very large field and major elite competition as well as mass participation. The route passes many of London’s most famous landmarks and typically starts in Greenwich with a finish on The Mall, creating an unmistakable city-centre spectacle. The event is also promoted as the world’s biggest annual one-day fundraising event, with many thousands of charity runners and supporter activities.
Entry combines several routes including the public ballot, charity places, Good for Age qualification, international/tour operator entries and elite / wheelchair categories, and extensive participant guidance and results resources are provided on the organiser’s site. The race day experience emphasises crowd support and fundraising, with dedicated charity teams and on-the-day cheer points along the course. Competitor services, participant guides and a results hub are linked from the official event pages to help runners plan and follow the race.
