The TB-Weiden Frühjahrslauf (TB-Frühjahrslauf) returns for its 27th edition on Sunday 1 March 2026 in Weiden in der Oberpfalz. The organiser Turnerbund Weiden e.V. has announced the traditional spring run with a 14:00 start from the Realschule sports ground. This edition includes the Oberpfalzmeisterschaft 10 km Straße, making the 10 km race a regional championship for runners with a BLV/DLV start pass. The event acts as a season opener for local athletes across the Oberpfalz region.
Racing comprises a children's and pupils' run, a 5.2 km hobby lap and the main 10 km which is two laps of the 5.2 km circuit on flat, paved paths around the local flood channel. The course is described as flat and suitable for both recreational runners and faster 10 km time-trial athletes. Age-group prizes are awarded in the 10 km Oberpfalz championship, while hobby runners receive certificates and small prizes for top finishers.
