SwissCityMarathon Lucerne is a one-day city marathon festival held in Lucerne, Switzerland, with the 2026 edition scheduled for 25 October 2026. The event combines an elite Marathon (branded as the Marathon Swiss Championships) with mass-participation distances and family races, all routed through Lucerne’s landmark scenery. Runners and spectators gather around a finish arena near the Swiss Museum of Transport, with an accompanying event village, music and partner activations to create a festival atmosphere.
The programme includes a full Marathon, a Half marathon, CityRun 10KM, CharityRun 10KM and the children’s Maratholino races, plus an expo and runner services such as chip timing and event photography. The courses are promoted for their scenic lakeside views and passages past Chapel Bridge, the KKL and the Horw peninsula, with transport links and boat shuttle options referenced for participants.
