Swinsty & Fewston Lakeside Dash is a lakeside trail event around Fewston and Swinsty reservoirs organised by Its Grim Up North Running. The event offers multiple distances on a single race day and is TRA-licensed, with a fully marshalled and signed route that highlights reservoir and woodland scenery. Registration on race day opens in the car park from 08:00 and all distances historically start at 09:00, making the day straightforward for competitors and supporters alike.
The event delivers a compact but varied trail experience with feed and drink stations approximately every three miles, bespoke finisher medals and post-race refreshments. The organisers operate a cupless policy to reduce waste, so runners are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle for aid stations. Facilities at the venue include public pay-and-display parking adjacent to registration and public toilets in the car park.
