Summer Run Graz — Edition 1

Summer Run Graz — Edition 1 is a single-day road running event held on 27 June 2026 at the Grazer Stadtstrand (the Graz city beach). The edition uses the same AIMS‑measured 5 km loop that defines the Summer Run Graz series, with participants able to enter either the 5 KM or 10 KM distance on the day. The course routes alongside the Mur river and crosses notable local points such as the Puchsteg and the Puntigamer Bridge, offering a flat, fast loop suitable for road runners. The event is promoted under the organiser branding “Summer Run Graz – Dein Lauf-Highlight im Sommer!”.

Race timing is provided by Race Result with an integrated chip in the bib so there is no separate chip rental fee, and finishers receive an exclusive Summer Run medal. Bib collection is available at Gigasport Graz (Kaiser Franz Josef Kai 8) on the Friday before the race and on-site the morning of the event to avoid queues. Overall male and female winners are presented on-site with a podium ceremony (first run ceremony around 12:30), while full age-class results are published online. Practical facilities include a luggage drop, an on-site Red Cross medical presence and a finish-line refreshment station.
