Event Overview

Strokes, Spokes & Strides is a sprint distance triathlon located in beautiful Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. The inaugural event was held in 2015 as a celebration of the Waynesboro Area YMCA 100 year anniversary. Our goal was to create an event that would promote community spirit and welcome all levels of athlete.

Course Description & Map

The triathlon course can be completed as an individual or as part of a three person relay team. Athletes of all levels are encouraged to compete – experienced cross trainers, families as well as first time competitors.

The triathlon start, swim, transition area and finish are located at the Y. The swim portion of the event is held in the Y’s six-lane, 25meter pool; the bike and run routes will take athletes through tree lined neighborhoods and farmland throughout Waynesboro.

6:00 am – 7:15 am sign in/packet pickup

7:15 am Packet pickup closes

7:20 am Pre Race Meeting

7:30 am Prayer Service

7:45 am Swimmers begin to line up on deck in bib order.

8:00 am Race Begins

Registration & Pricing

$85 for all individual events. Price increases after February 28, 2025 at 11:59pm EST.

Packet Pickup Details

Packet pickup will be available on race day from 6:00 am to 7:15 am.

What to Bring

Participants should bring their race bib, swim gear, and any personal items needed for the race.

Race Day Info

Race day will include a pre-race meeting and a prayer service before the start of the race.
