Join us on Saturday, June 7th, for the Strawberry Strut 5 Mile Run, 5k Run, 5k Walk, and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.
Course Description & Map
The 5k and the 5 mile each start at the north side of the courthouse and make 1 1/4 laps around the square then head south on Madison St. to cherry St. Head west on Cherry one block to Marion St. then north on Marion one block to Wabash Ave. West on Wabash to Main St. Turn west on Main St. to West St. At this point, the 5 milers head north on West St. while the 5k runners continue west on Main St. almost to US Hwy 136 then turn around. The 5k folks then retrace their steps back to Wabash where it is a straight shot to the finish line at the corner of Wabash and S. Madison. The 5 mile course turns north on West St. at Main to US Hwy 136. Cross 136 then head west to the entrance to Jaycee Park. Then the fun begins! follow the lake road past the golf course and then up the infamous dump hill. Follow this road to Fayette St. Turn south on Fayette to Wabash St. then turn east on Wabash to the finish.

- 1-Mile Walk/Run 8:45 AM
Race Day Registration will take place from 7:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. All race packets must be picked up by 7:45 a.m. on Race Day.
Registration & Pricing
$30 for 5 Mile, 5k Run, and 5k Walk. $10 for 1 Mile Run/Walk. Price increases after June 6, 2025 at 11:59pm CDT.
Packet Pickup Details
All 5-mile and 5k participants registered by May 6th will receive a T-Shirt. Those who register after May 1st will NOT receive a T-Shirt. 1 Mile participants have the option to purchase a shirt for $15 during the registration process by May 1st.

Race Day Info
Net Proceeds will be donated to Hancock County Fights Cancer. No Refunds.
Awards & Categories
Age Groups 5 Mile Run - Male and Female: 13 and under; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over. 1 Mile Fun Run Ribbons: Top 2 Male/Female for every age from 5-12 years of age. Plaque: First Male/Female finisher.
