The Almentrail in the Fischbacher alps will take you on a journey of 5 km on a sloping asphalt road with 300 altitude meters to the first refreshment station. From here, you will traverse alpine pastures to the Stanglalm, reaching the second station after 12 km and 850 altitude meters. The next 7 km will take you past the wind turbines on slightly hilly alpine pastures. After 19 km and 1100 altitude meters, you will reach the first relay hand over station and the goal for the short trail runners. Meanwhile, the marathon runners will continue for 13 km on woody trails to Herrnaim for the second relay hand over station on the Stanzebergerhöhe, with stunning views into the east Styria all the way to the Graz basin!At the third relay and for marathon runners, the steepest ascent awaits - at the same time being the highest point of 1600 m above sea level. The 3 km from the hand over to the highest point is done on narrow single trails and 300 m in ascent! After a break at the 8th station on Hochschlag, the race continues at a breathtaking speed on single trails and a downhill to Hofbaueralm, where you will find the 9th station. The runners will be met with big applauds and music.The beautiful but challenging Almentrails are ready for you. You will have a view of the Mürztal Hochschwab and the alpine pastures as you approach the last station at Kitzl. From here, there are still 6 km to the goal. Carry on over mossy forest floors and forest roads until you reach the finish at the sports and cultural hall in Stanz im Mürztal.At the finish, you will find a finish area with a large cake buffet, and all the other things that make a runner's heart beat faster. In the sports hall, just 20 meters from the finish, you can take a shower, relax, replenish, and mingle with like-minded people.
