Stadtwerke run & roll City — Successor event 2026 (name not yet decided)

Stadtwerke run & roll City (title for the successor event; a final name will be announced) is a new, city-wide sport festival planned for Sunday 13 September 2026 in Bielefeld. The concept replaces the prior Run & Roll-Day format with a modernised, expanded programme that foregrounds movement, health and broad participation across generations and abilities. Organised by Bielefeld Marketing with main sponsorship from Stadtwerke Bielefeld, the day is intended as an open, lively celebration of sport that invites trying out, watching and taking part.

The programme will use multiple central venues — including Ravensberger Park, Seidensticker Halle and the Wiesenbad — to create a connected, day-long sport experience rather than a single central race. Planned features include Bambini- and Schülerinnenläufe (children's and school-age runs), inclusive activity offers, tests for the German Sports Badge and numerous presentations and participatory stands run by local clubs and associations.
