Spreewald Duathlon (31st edition) – Notice / Race Information

The Spreewald Duathlon (Spreewälder Duathlon) is a one-day duathlon event organised by Triathlon Spreewald e. V. and scheduled for 25 April 2026 at Badestrand Briesensee near Lübben and Straupitz. The meeting includes three distinct duathlon races on the same day, notably the long Spreewald Duathlon (19–84–5 km), a Kurzdistanz that serves as the LM Berlin & Brandenburg (10–42–5 km), and a Volksduathlon (6–11–5 km). The event is staged on largely low‑traffic roads with a single supervised transition zone and follows DTU competition rules, including an anti‑doping levy applied to entry fees and the requirement to wear a helmet on the bike course.

Entries are by online registration only with payment options of PayPal (instant confirmation) or bank transfer and participants receive a detailed race description by video one week before the race. The long distance carries an overall time condition (competitors exceeding the specified time after the second bike lap will be removed), while the shorter formats list no overall time limit; start times begin from 11:00 on race day.
