Bodensee-Stadion, 6900 Bregenz, Austria
The SPARKASSE 3-Länder-Marathon is a cross-border running festival held around Lake Constance (Bodensee) with a flagship full marathon that starts on Lindau (Germany) and finishes in the Bodensee-Stadion in Bregenz (Austria). The event weekend includes a variety of distances and race formats, from the AIMS‑certified full marathon to a half marathon, relay marathon (Staffel), quarter marathon, Nordic walking event and youth/children's races, plus an on-site Sport‑Aktiv expo. The official organiser is SEG Sport Event GmbH and the event is presented under the Sparkasse running brand, with route maps, certification and race documents available on the official site.
Race services and participant facilities are described on the organiser pages: chip timing is integrated in the bib, regular aid stations and food/drink points are provided along the courses, and an expo (Sport‑Aktiv‑Messe) with bib collection, pasta party and health symposium operates at the Festspielhaus in Bregenz during the weekend. The marathon course is predominantly flat and point-to-point along the Bodensee, includes a short Swiss crossing via St. Margrethen, and is officially measured and AIMS‑certified. Online registration is handled through the event portal; key participant information such as start lists, route GPX files and athlete instructions are published on the event website and linked competition pages.
