Next to the Canal, near Salts Mill, Saltaire, Shipley, West Yorkshire BD18, United Kingdom
Sir Titus Summer Trot is a one-day multi-distance running festival organised by Its Grim Up North Running, taking place on 15 August 2026 in Saltaire, Shipley, West Yorkshire. The event centres on Saltaire World Heritage Village with the start/finish area described as next to the canal near Salts Mill, using largely flat canal towpaths and off-road towpath sections for the courses. The races are licenced by the Trail Running Association and are presented as accessible towpath runs suitable for a wide range of abilities while still offering longer endurance options for experienced runners.
The event offers a broad choice of distances from a 5K up to an Ultra, with staggered start times on race day and regular feed/drink stations approximately every three miles; entrants are asked to bring their own reusable cup or bottle because the event operates cup-less feed stations. Saltaire train station is a short walk from the start, parking is available locally (including near Titus Salt School), and all finishers receive a bespoke medal and edible goodies. Transfers and deferrals can be self-managed on the organiser site up to 48 hours before the event, and there is a preference against large over-ear headphones with allowance for bone-conduction or one-ear in-ear use.
