The schauinsland Muddy Angel Run GELSENKIRCHEN 2026 is a women-focused 5 km obstacle run held at the Trabrennbahn in Gelsenkirchen. The event combines a mud-themed course with team-focused activities and a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere that welcomes participants aged 12 and over. The series element emphasises community and fundraising, with part of ticket proceeds donated to Brustkrebs Deutschland e.V. and free "Strong Angel" tickets offered for women affected by breast cancer.
Participants tackle a 5 km course featuring numerous muddy and water-based obstacles (the Gelsenkirchen edition lists 18 obstacles) and enjoy on-course refreshment, a professional warm-up and event photography included in some ticket packages. Practical facilities such as changing and post-race wash areas are provided, with advice to use public transport (tram line 107) and limited parking available via the ticket shop.
