The 40. RVB Harlingerland Cross-Waldlauf is a traditional cross-country race held on a scenic forest course in the Schafhauser Wald. Organised by Lauftreff Schafhauser Wald in partnership with Raiffeisen-Volksbank eG (RVB), the event forms part of the RVB Harlinger-Lauf-Cups series and celebrates its 40th edition on 14 February 2026. The course setting emphasises natural terrain and a communal atmosphere, attracting club and recreational runners from the Harlingerland region and beyond.

Multiple race categories are offered for all ages, including a family-friendly Bambini and Schülerlauf which are free this year, and competitive 4.8 km and 9.6 km volkslauf distances. Official electronic timing is used with a shoe-chip transponder supplied with the bib, and results and archives are published on the organiser's site. Registration is online with a pre-registration deadline and limited on-the-day entry; participants should consult the organiser for latest course maps, start lists and practical information.
