Event Overview
Our goal is to support members of our city while highlighting east side community partners!
The 5K Run/Walk will begin & end at Faith Lutheran Church, in Whitehall. All proceeds from this event will support the work of the ETSS Tewahedo Social Services and the valuable resources they supply to immigrants throughout the Columbus metropolitan area. The 5K Run/Walk course will be mostly on neighborhood roads and a loop around Lamby Lane Park before heading back to the finish line. The course is flat and on paved surfaces.

Packet Pickup Details
Packet pick-up will happen on RACE DAY at Faith Lutheran Church starting at 7:00AM. There will be race day registration, but we encourage everyone to register in advance so we know how many participants we will have.
What to Bring
Each participant will receive a race shirt. If you register for the race after 7/1/2025, shirts and/or your shirt size will not be guaranteed. Please register early.
Race Day Info
Before the race enjoy wonderful coffee provided by Florin Coffee and afterward stay for the post race hotdogs courtesy of Uncle Will's Wagon.
Pastries and treats are available for runners, walkers, watchers, and all visitors.
Awards & Categories
Finisher woodles will be given to all upon completion of the course. Top male and female overall finishers will receive gift bags & coupon for a free pair of shoes from Calzuro Shoes.
Age Groups:
- 19 and under
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60 and above
Top finishers, female and male, will be recognized in the results.
