Happy 30th Birthday, Run Mahomet!! Run Mahomet is celebrating thirty years of bringing activity and support to the Mahomet community! Run Mahomet is proud to continue to be a main fundraiser to support Mahomet Area Youth Club (MAYC), a vital non-profit organization providing education, programming, and community to our children. If you're looking for a great race, why not let your registration fees also support a great cause?

Course Description & Map

Run Mahomet offers USATF Certified Courses for the 5k, 10k, and the ½ Marathon. Chip timing is provided for in-person runners. The course is primarily flat and considered fast. Virtual options are available for all races. Virtual runners will not be included in official timed results, but times can be submitted for final rankings. Virtual runners may run anytime the week before the in-person race date. Finisher Medals and Shirts will be mailed to all virtual runners.

Packet pick up time is from 7am - 7pm in the circle drive at Middletown Prairie, 1301 Bulldog Dr, Mahomet, IL 61853. All local runners are encouraged to pick up their packet on Friday. If you are traveling a distance you may pick up your packet on-site race day, Saturday, August 2nd from 5:30 to 6:45 am at Mahomet-Seymour High School, 302 W State St, Mahomet, IL 61853.

Registration & Pricing

5K: $45, 10K: $55, Half Marathon: $75, Main Street Mile: $15. Prices increase after April 29, 2025 at 11:59pm CDT.

Awards & Categories

In-Person Runners - Awards: 5K - Top 3 M/F Overall and Top 3 M/F in each age group; 10K - Top 3 M/F Overall and Top 3 M/F in each age group; Half Marathon - Top 3 M/F Overall and Top 3 M/F in each age group. Prize money may be available depending on pre-race donations.
