Rund um Köln 2026 is the 108th edition of the long‑running German road cycling classic and combines a professional UCI one‑day race with mass‑participation Granfondo options. The event day is set for 17 May 2026 with Start and Finish framed by the atmospheric Rheinauhafen in Cologne, offering a central and spectator‑friendly setting. Amateur riders can enter one of several Velodom distances while the professional Men Elite race appears on the UCI calendar for 2026.
The organiser presents three Granfondo options — Velodom 120, Velodom 60 and Velodom 30 — and describes the course as a mix of flat, fast stretches and demanding climbs through the Bergisches Land. A notable feature of the route is the cobblestone passage towards Schloss Bensberg, which adds a traditional and technical element to the race. Participants are advised to follow the event website and official social channels for final route maps, start times and logistical updates as those details are still being finalised.
