The Residenz-Abendlauf is an annual community road race organised by TSV 1887 Schloß Neuhaus e.V.'s athletics department. The next edition is scheduled for 08 May 2026 with start and finish at Stadion am Merschweg in Paderborn-Schloß Neuhaus. The event features 5 km and 10 km Volks- und Straßenläufe alongside youth and kindergarten runs and a Firmenwertung (corporate three‑person team competition).
The course is described as flat and fast with route sections around Lippesee and the Schloss- and Auenpark, and detailed maps and GPX files are published on the organiser pages. Chip timing is used for the 5 km and 10 km with loaner transponders issued against a €10 deposit refundable on return; participants can register via the RaceResult portal. Facilities include changing rooms with showers, nearby parking and simple food and drink stalls, and awards include trophies and medals for age category winners.
