Rempart Lachepaillet, Bayonne 64100, France (finish near Peña CACAO entrance)
The Course des Remparts – Peña CACAO – Bayonne is an urban 10 km race that highlights Bayonne's historic ramparts, moats and narrow streets, presented by the local association Peña CACAO. The event is promoted as a festival-like run with a distinctive route that includes passages along the remparts and a short subterranean section, giving the race an almost urban-trail character while remaining a timed road event. The 40th edition is planned for Sunday 27 September 2026 and continues the event's strong charitable and community focus.
The meeting point and finish are on the Rempart Lachepaillet area in Bayonne and the main race is limited to 1,500 entrants, with a technical T-shirt provided to each registrant. A companion children’s programme (Tremplin des enfants) offers multiple short parcours with free registration and medals for participants, while organisers also provide aid stations, a post-race snack and a substantial prize draw. Entrants are asked to follow the event regulations and provide the required PPS/attestation; official registration information is published on the event website.
