The Quebrantahuesos Gran Fondo (original Spanish title: Quebrantahuesos Gran Fondo) is a long-distance organised mass-participation cycling event that follows a 200 km cross-border route through environmentally sensitive high-mountain terrain between Spain and France. Entry is limited and allocated by a mandatory pre-registration lottery, which emphasises participant safety and route protection; those awarded places must complete payment to confirm entry. The organisers require a national cycling licence affiliated to the UCI or purchase of a one-day insurance, and for the Gran Fondo a current medical certificate valid for high-exertion sport must be presented at bib collection.
The event package explicitly includes the official race jersey and a water bottle, and the weekend features an Expo, prize ceremonies and organised medal distribution for finishers. Key event logistics include bib collection on Friday 19 June (10:00–21:00) and early on race day (from 05:30 until about 06:15), and an official start on Saturday 20 June 2026 at 07:15 with a maximum arrival time of 19:30. The route and logistics require cross-border permissions and insurance coverage valid in both Spain and France, reflecting the international nature of the course and associated regulatory requirements.
