How can I preorder a Point5k Tshirt? Check back soon for details once the 2025 design is created!
What is it? It's a (Point) 5 K run/ walk fundraiser to benefit the annual fund of the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley.
Why participate? Because up to 186 men, women and children seek shelter at our homeless shelter each night and hundreds visit us for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Your support makes a difference!
What's different about this event? The Point 5k is a grand total of 1,640 feet (0.5K) and is a fun family event that everyone can enjoy. There is no type-o. We really mean just 1,640 feet! (It’s just a little longer in distance than the Empire State Building is tall.)
How much? Registration cost is extremely low to encourage families to participate. Just S5 per person. Fun elements will be added to the walk: like a donut stop at the half-way mark, a selfie station, oval point 5K car decals and more fun found on the farm.
When & where? Event is Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Whitehouse Fruit Farm in Canfield, Ohio with a 10am start. Free parking. It's a nice walk around the pond on the farm, so be sure to wear appropriate shoes.
