The Pöhler Triathlon is an annual sprint-distance triathlon held at the Talsperre Pöhl near Plauen in Vogtland. The event (Pöhler Triathlon) for 2026 is scheduled for 9 August and features an open-water 750 m swim, a 20 km bike on an out-and-back course and a 5.9 km run made up of two laps near the shore. The organiser publishes an Ausschreibung containing detailed rules, start-group times, participant limits and safety measures, and the race is run under DTU regulations.
Entry for 2026 opened on 1 January and the Ausschreibung lists early-bird and on-site fee bands together with a registration deadline of 3 August and bank-transfer payment instructions. The event provides official transponder timing and a finisher technical shirt for participants, medical and water-rescue cover, and trophies and certificates for category winners. Field size is limited and the organiser advises competitors to consult the Ausschreibung and Starterliste pages for full information on check-in, bike racking, mandatory briefing and race procedures.
