Join the Pineland Striders for our annual Independence Day Races! The Pineland Striders are proud to welcome runners to Medford, NJ for the 46th year! Join us in celebrating Independence Day with some sweaty summer miles!
The event features a 10K, 5K, and FREE Kids' Fun Run. Participants in the USATF-sanctioned, chip-timed 10K and 5K will receive our exclusive race swag. As usual, our swag item is high-quality and one-size-fits-all. It's not quite time to share this year's item, but stay tuned for a big reveal closer to race day. You won't be taking home a scratchy cotton t-shirt covered with sponsor logos!
Both the 10K and 5K courses are fast and flat. On-course hydration will be available. Strollers are allowed on both the 10K and 5K races, but the race does finish by crossing a grass field onto the Shawnee High School track. Sorry, pet-lovers, but dogs are not allowed in the race. With a two-hour cutoff, all paces are welcome!
Proceeds from the races fund two scholarships for Shawnee High School student athletes, with the remaining proceeds benefiting Prince of Peace Community Food Pantry in Marlton, NJ.
We are excited to continue last year's new Team Challenge this year! When you sign up, feel free to create or join a team. All teams with five or more members will have their times entered into the Team Challenge. Each team's three fastest times will be combined, and the team with the fastest overall time will win the challenge! Awards will also be given out to the largest team and to the most spirited team. How your team shows off its spirit is up to you! Let's see you flex those creative muscles (but don't flex too hard--remember you have a race to run!).

- Friday, June 27th - Pre-Race Bib Pickup
- Saturday, June 28th - RACE DAY!
- 7:00am - Bib Pickup/Race Day Registration Begins
- 8:00am - Free Kids' Fun Run Start
- 8:05am - Pre-race warmup with 3DPT
- 8:15am - 10K Start
- 8:30am - 5K Start
- 9:30am - 5K Awards Ceremony
- 9:45am - 10K Awards Ceremony
- 10:00am - Team Challenge Awards Ceremony
- 10:30am - Event Concludes
Awards will be given to the first place male, female, and non-binary finisher in both the 10K and 5K races. Age group awards will be given to the first three male, female, and non-binary finishers in the following age groups: under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.
