Otterndorf Hour Run

The Otterndorfer Stundenlauf is a single-day event taking place on 18 July 2026 at the Jahn Sportplatz in Otterndorf. The Otterndorfer Stundenlauf (Otterndorf Hour Run) offers two timed track races: a one-hour Stundenlauf and a 30-minute Halbstundenlauf, both contested on a 400 metre lap. Timekeeping is by transponder (chip) and entries are limited to 40 participants per race. Every competitor receives a certificate recording the distance run and any recorded split times.

The meeting is organised by the Leichtathletikabteilung des TSV Otterndorf von 1862 e. V. and provides changing rooms, showers and refreshments in the start/finish area. A free running shoe test is offered during the event by AbsoluteRun Bremen with New Balance footwear available to try. Pre-registration is available online until 17 July 2026, with on‑the‑day entry permitted only if capacity remains; specific start times are not listed on the event page. Walkers are not permitted and age restrictions apply to each race category.
