The Oberhausener Kleeblatt-Lauf is the premiere edition of a community-focused running festival held at Stadion Niederrhein in Oberhausen on Friday 26 June 2026. Organised by the SC Rot-Weiß Oberhausen (RWO) Endurance Team in cooperation with the Stadtsportbund Oberhausen, the event is positioned as an inclusive local festival of running that showcases canal-side scenery, the Rhein-Herne-Kanal, the Kaisergarten and Oberhausen landmarks such as the distinctive "Slinky Springs to Fame" bridge. Registration opened on 01 January 2026 and closes on 21 June 2026 (or when capacity is reached); an optional race shirt order window closed on 30 April 2026.
Races on the measured, largely flat 7.8 km loop include a Bambinilauf (400 m), youth races (~1.6 km, run in waves), a 7.8 km Hauptlauf/Jedermann and parallel Walking/Nordic-Walking and Firefighter charity runs. The organisers emphasise fairness (net/chip time ranking for headline and walking categories) and professional timing by Cologne Timing. Participants receive a finisher medal and certificates; there are on-site changing rooms and showers. The Firefighter Charity Run is a separate category that supports charity (race documents note a portion of fees is donated to Paulinchen e.V.).
