The Neusser Erftlauf is an annual road running event organised by DJK Novesia 1919 Neuss e.V. and is presented on the event page as "Neusser Erftlauf". The organisers confirm the 53rd edition for 14 November 2026, following the 52nd Auflage held on 15 November 2025 which recorded 1,071 registrations and 902 finishers. The race is clearly community‑focused, with extensive local volunteer support and a number of municipal and commercial sponsors acknowledged on the organiser page.
The event features a 15 km Hauptlauf (the main race, named by RheinLand Versicherungsgruppe) and a 5 km round which the organisers explicitly state remains eligible for national bestenlisten rankings. The 2025 report notes a temporary Baustellenumleitung (construction detour) on the 15 km course while the 5 km route remained unchanged.
